Read your book about taking LSD.Couldn't figure why you couldn't figure out that taking LSD was making you crazy, over and over and over.Sad to hear you appear to have lead such a normal life.
Have some memories of skinny Chip Hollister ,later smoking grass, and becoming a pharmacologist.Hmmm.
Happy birthday.I envy your phisicality.

On June 18, 2019 I had a kidney transplant at the University of Pennsylvania from a living donor. Both the donor (a childhood friend of my wife, Donna) and I have done very well. The donor is back to playing pickleball, and after being restricted for three months, I am allowed to go fishing again. Many miracles have occurred to make all of this happen, which Donna and I attribute to prayer and a willingness to take opportunities as they arose. Donna has been a constant support throughout, and this would not have happened without her.
In addition to all of the staff at Penn Medicine, who have been spectacular, we are especially grateful to David and Joan Hilgers, who graciously shared their condo in Philadelphia with us, so that we could easily get to Penn for the multiple follow-up visits in the three weeks after the surgery.
