Sheri Alleshouse Bartley

After graduating from NV I attended BGSU and earned a Bachelor's in music education. I was a substitute teacher in the Toledo area for a year and a half, then married my husband and moved to California. We had been stationed at Travis Air Force Base for over 14 years. We moved to the Washington, D.C. area in 2009 due to my husband's new work assignment. I teach Suzuki violin and elementary instrumental music exploratory classes, and perform with various groups in the area. Every August I return to Ohio to play with the Lakeside Summer Symphony.

My husband, Chris, retired from the Air Force in November 2014 after 21 years. We are staying in the DC area. I have just started (May 2015) a new job at Aflac in Columbia, MD as an insurance agent.

I remember lots and lots of band time - jazz band, marching band, Harmony Road Show band...and a couple of garage bands.
