I graduated from Saint Mary's College in 1992, and moved to Chicago right away. I didn't have a real job yet, but took an internship with an advertising agency, just to make the leap of independence. I can still remember the pain in my jaw from clenching my teeth so hard the first few nights after that move. About 3 weeks later, I accepted a job with my current employer, Hewitt Associates. I have spent most of the past 15 years working in technology.
In 2000, I moved to Cincinnati for a temporary job change. The new job was not a good fit, but I loved the new city, so decided to stay. In 2004, I finally found my husband Sean. Never thought it would take so long, but I'm thankful that things don't always go my way, or I might not have such a sweet husband and beautiful son.
