Sonny Chelf

After school, I partied and started my own business. That lead me to biugger things of being a professional DJ, and party producer. In 1991 I decided to join the Navy and was stationed on the USS Nimitz where I worked on the flight deck of the aircraft as a green shirt. I did a tour through the Persian Gulf during Desert Shield and Storm. After my Navy tour I returned to Tacoma and began a long career in the Airline industry.
I took a number of Job promotions that have moved me from Tacoma to San Diego and now in L.A. I am currently the number 2 guy here at LAX as an Operations Manager. I kept up playing volleyball while in Tacoma and once moving to San Diego transitioned to Beach volleyball where i play on the competitive AVP and EVP tour. Volleyball has helped me travel around the world also having played in Japan, Saipan, Germany, Guam, and all US States.
