After HS graduation I went to college at Western Washington University where I graduated with a finance degree in 1993. For a short time after graduation I stayed in Bellingham working for Starbucks Coffee. After leaving Bellingham I returned back to mom and dad for a time and started a career in banking that lasted until 1999. I left banking in 1999 deciding that I wanted to pursue a career as an electrician. Since 1999 I have been an electrician. I have also been an estimator, project manager and am presently a general foreman master electrician for KBR working in Iraq. I will be leaving Iraq in August to go to Afghanistan as an electrical superintendent.
More importantly, I have a wonderful family. I married my wife Lynne in 1996. She and I had been ski instructors in high school and I had a crush on her then even though she was two grades ahead of me and went to Curtis. Those who know me know I have a weak spot for pretty girls. So, I married my wonderful wife. She had a little girl already and so she became my wonderful daughter. Her name is Kaitlyn. We had two children together, a girl, Margaret, and a boy, Jack. God has blessed me beyond measure with a beautiful family. We live in Lacey, Hawkes Prarie near Tolmie State Park to be specific. Lynne teaches math at TCC. My daughter Kaitlyn is a junior in high school and very involved with 4H, Future Farmers of America, and her HS Equestrian Club. She has a horse named Comet. My daughter Margaret will be in grade 6. She is a competative gymnast who will be competing at USGA Level 9 this season. She is quite the athlete. Jack will be in grade 4 and likes playing with his friends, drawing, playing with toys, and video games. He played baseball for two seasons and is a great swimmer.
