Has it really been ten years since we all graduated? It doesn't seem that long to me.
Well, can't say that I've been successful in finding a cure for AIDS or won a Pulitzer prize but after graduating from UWT in 2004, I wound up covering general news for the Gig Harbor newspaper. From there, I moved over to the sports desk, which is what I do now.
Not to boast, but I did win a Presidential award from the McClatchy Corporation for a sports article I wrote in 2008.
I'm very proud of the job I do — although the $$ sucks — and I'm extremely blessed to have a beautiful son.
Not every ASB group keeps tabs on their 10-year high school reunion or a Web site so kudos to those people.
I'm amazed to see the different directions everyone has taken in their lives. MT4Life!!
