Did you actually graduate with the WHS class of 1989, or were you part of our class & left before graduating?:

Well I went from Christensen elementry to Keithly then Washington....Then.....Got in a fist fight with Jeff Summers....and then a trip to the principles office where we both appoligized to each other...Then I decided to move schools because girls shouldnt fight like that with boys...Ended at Wilson High School in North Tacoma...Still miss ya Jeff ;-)

I have so many funny stories....The ones I like the most usually involved Stacy Williams...More later! Love ya Stac.

Did you go to different High School, GED, or?...

Went to Wilson High in Tacoma and remained kind of low key...didnt do any sports and had late arrival and early dismissle...Was in the Miss Des Moines Beauty Pagent ... haha lots of you would never have guessed that one.

Your Personal Story:

I have had a very blessed life. Married young had a daughter and divorced in 1993 worked for Alaska Air/Horizon Air for 5 yrs then worked in sales married my husband in 03 and he is the most awesome person you will ever meet. We have 2 boys that are absolutely beautiful. My daughter in now in college at Univ of So Miss on a Softball scholarship...I couldn't be more proud. We travel alot and enjoy being with family to pass the time. I am excited to see all from school it has been way too long. Sorry to those I've picked on and hope the ones I stood up for became stronger.

What’s your situation on the homefront? (e.g., Married, domestic partnered, divorced, widowed, shacked up, single, wild and crazy, let’s not go there, etc.)

Married to near perfect man who is serving our country and most recently returned from Iraq!

If you do not have a "job" that makes money, then what do you do with your days?

Work out, Take care of my boys and hold the fort down.

Yikes and hoping not for at least 6 yrs...daughter needs to graduated college get a job then married then all the babies she wants.

Where have you traveled? What are your favorite trip memories? Upcoming destinations?

Geezz a lot I was a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines so here goes - Alaska - many Loved the Ididerod), Idaho - dont remember much, Montana - Skiing Big Moutain, Oregon - all over love the ocean and Portland, Arizona- Phoenix used it like a tanning booth - haha, Nevada - Reno visiting a friend and Las Vegas - I'd tell ya but what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, California - lots (we have family in Central and Southern but was based there as a flight attendant), Minniapolis - family there too, North Carolina - We have a vacation home on Pinehurst golf course, Viginia - friends there, Washington DC- what an experience a real sense of our countries foundation, New York - lots - love Manhatten its so busy all the time and so overwhelming I Love NY, Mexico - a few - too short vacations but had a blast from what I can remember, London- I could live there- awsome transportation system and just plain relaxing, Scottland - absolutely beautiful and so historic its like what you see in the movies and I would go back in a heart beat - Hubby played in a father/son golf tourney at the old course, Ireland - again like in the movies...so lush and green and so beautiful reminds me of the movie PS I Love You. My journey is not done....I cant wait to take my kids to these places....I really feel that it helps create you as person because of your experiences. Hawaii may be next

Have you ever met a famous person?

Oh my gosh...some people win money I win chance in counters with famous people.
Bob Barker, Rick Meyer, Jeff Graham and Stan Gelbaugh - Seahawk Qtr backs, The Minisota Vikings team by accident at the pool in Phoenix 97-98, Kevin Carideen, Nick Nolte, Martin Short, Omar Visqual and some other Mariners at a friends party, Felix Hernandez, Valerie Thompson -NHRA harley racer (a good friend that I miss since she moved) Many more...Fame is what you make it.

What careers have you had since high school? Worst job? Best job?

Airline reservations lead, Gate Agent and Flight attendant, Sales rep and Insurance Broker and now Loan officer.

College? Grad School? Where did you go and what degrees did you earn?

When to both TCC and Highline, never completed but Im going to finish

What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?

Work out, Golf, Ski, Still lay in the sun, Softball and Baseball, Love the Rainiers

What are your favorite memories about WHS?

Being with all my friends all the time just hanging out

What did you dislike the most about high school?

DRAMA

Mr Smith - PE

Didnt have any but I know Mr Cleghorn wanted to smack me a few times.

Did you have a secret crush in high school?

oh my gosh I was boy crazy...If they were popular for the most part I had a crush on them. I know none of them knew it.

What is the biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at WHS?

Stayed at Washington and just worked through the difficulties. I missed my 89 Class

What would you like to tell your high school self now that you’re older and wiser?

That boys did like you...them picking on you meant they liked you not disliked you...I would say to me that I picked good friends and to hold them tight youll need them later. GO TO COLLEGE. That is the biggy. proud of yourself for your good grades but should have tried harder in harder classes.

Are you still surprised you got away with something back then?

Ya Im not sure why wasnt challenged more on my attitude...or maybe I was and didnt care. I skipped class a lot to go to the gym and surprised I wasnt sent back to class - ever. Guess Mr. Smith didnt care.. I used him as my excuse.

Did you ever venture onto 'The Hill', before you were a Senior, knowing it would probably annoy someone?

Hey yah I did..I was always pushing the limits and had a lot of Senior friends...felt bad for those that went on the hill but came down in a garbage can.

What do you think we had in common with today’s teenagers? What was different, better and worse?

Wow the hormones are the same, Drugs are worse, Drinking is the same and at times wish we were back in the 50's.

What are your favorite 80s fashion & hairstyle memories?

BIG BIG Aqua Net Hair...Feather Hair...Mullet - haha still funny today...Shawn Copeland had a good one.

Favorite 80s TV shows and movies?

Gosh didn't watch too much TV except MTV - way to busy doing stuff.

Favorite 80s music?

Music you could Pop too...haha Pop (action word) and of course Madona, George Micheal, Cure, Boy George (thanks Tracy Whitley) Oh my gosh too many to remember

What is a political or world event that stands out in your mind from the 80s? How did it affect your view of the world?

Gosh cant remember...as I have aged I pay attention more.

Do you think you're more conservative or liberal than you were in high school? Are you surprised?

About the same. No I know me and have at a young age..guess I was always beyond my years.

What would we be surprised to learn about you?

I was on the Price Is Right and won...Thanks Bob, I hosted a segment on both Evening Magazine and was on the TMan radio show. I introduced Tman to one of his disfunctional family members.

What do you hope to accomplish in the next 10 years

Get my long time coming Degree....do some community work....travel and raise to wonderful children and hopefull have some grandbabies near the end of the ten year....retire and enjoy life...I hope i have managed thing correctly to do that. Keep better in touch with those I have lost track of.
