Norman Manly

Upon graduation I joined the Navy where I spent three years and served as a quartermaster. Returning to civilian life in 1964 I went to work for Foss Maritime Company where I spent the next 42 years! Retired in 2006 and move to Manson, Washington where we built a home overlooking Lake Chelan. We spend our winters at Sahuaritz, Arizona from December 15 to April 15. We arrive home just in time to plant flowers and vegetables. I spend many hours volunteering in our community. I run the Men's Ministry at North Shore Bible Church, assist with the Manson Chamber of Commerce and spend many hours at Manson High School where I teach students how to write cover letters, resumes and the art of interviewing. Life is good

I love the story about the small car that was lifted up on the covered walkway. I felt so sorry for the poor teacher!!!!
