Dear Fellow Graduate and/or Honorary Invitee:
The venue has been set; the entertainment booked; the planning in high gear; the only piece of the puzzle to be added is YOU! Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity of standing up and being counted as part of “YOUR” 25th High School Class Reunion. You are cordially invited as well as encouraged to participate, witness, and share in this most memorable occasion.
Several announcements have gone forth prior to this one and it was heard from a few, that electronic correspondence failed you, so apologizes to all that were affected. The mailing of correspondence was previously avoided to reduce cost. Hopefully this one time allowance will cover all bases and answer most of your questions. REUNION DETAILS
Location: Callaway Gardens Mountain Creek Inn “Sweetbay” Ballroom
17800 Highway 27, Pine Mountain, GA
Date: Saturday – August 13th, 2011
Time A: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm (Registration; Meet & Greet Brunch)
Time B: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm (free time)
Time C: 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm (dinner)
Time D: 8:00 pm to 9:15 pm (Reunion Program)
Time E: 9:15 pm to 1:00 am (Dancing & Entertainment)
Cost: $85/ per Alumni or Honorary - $45/ per Alumni Guest = $130 for a party of 2 or $85 for a party of 1
(Those who have already submitted a deposit payment please subtract this amount and if anyone need to activate a guest (1 per alumni), it is not too late)
THERE ARE DEADLINES TO MEET, SO WE DO RESPECTFULLY ASK THAT EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PAY BALANCES IN FULL TODAY, THAT AT A MINIMUM, HALF OR A 3RD OF THE BALANCE IS SUBMITTED BY APRIL 15TH. WITH YOUR NEXT PAYMENT DUE DATE BEING BY MAY 15TH AND THE FINAL NO LATER THAN JUNE 30TH.

Hotel lodging has also been negotiated for this event for those desiring to stay at the resort. The contracted price is $109 per night + tax. This cost is a totally separate one for which the alumni/honorary would be responsible for on his or her own. You have until July 14th for this guaranteed room rate. So please book in advance, for they fill up pretty quickly we are being told. When calling in, please give them the name- Central of Talbotton Class of 1986 Reunion. The rooms are centrally located near the ballroom for those who might choose to partake in the “spirits” and find himself or herself rendered too impaired for driving afterwards; Or even if you are simply just in need of a brief getaway. Anyone staying at the resort will have total access to the gardens, the beach and all the amenities offered by Callaway.

Time F: 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
We will embark upon a day of church attendance and class participation as we show up and represent for our class in conducting some of the various aspects of the order of service at Shady Grove Baptist Church located at 195 Washington Ave. Talbotton, GA. This location is the church home of one of own, First Lady Mrs. Portia Terry Holmes. The Lord is good and the occasion already blessed, and giving thanks unto HE who made it all possible is truly in order. Your presence will be your added Blessing.
And, lastly I am still seeking submissions of your family photos or old school pics for our Class of 1986 Memoriam DVD. Deadline for all photos is by April 15st. Limit 5 photos per member. Please email your jpeg photos to me at foreverme1968@yahoo.com.
