Comments:

After a 4 years in the Air Force I move to Dallas Texas and received my electrical engineering degree from University of Texas at Arlington. I married and had 3 children. I have retired from Texas Instruments but working 4 days a week for a small start up company currently. I have always played sports since high school (1960 class). I currently run on the Texas Instruments track team (100, 200 and 400 meters). I play golf every Friday with two other seniors. I am a very serious photographer with Nikon D300 digital equipment. I still have my medium format Hasselblad film camera and use it on occasions. I love to do woodworking and metal working. I have all of right equipment to do both. I love playing my guitar and singing for fun. I love to read mostly about sports, golf, bowling, running, science, math, engineering, photography, astronomy, and history. I have worked many years in satellite communications and have traveled many parts of the world. I worked 26 years for a defense contractor designing and developing communication equipment for all branches of the military. I worked for two cell phone companies over a period of 8 years designing and developing cell phones. I worked 6 years designing and developing RFID tags (inlays) for Texas Instruments customers around the world using computer oriented electromagnetic simulators.I hope to fully retire soon and travel with my wife to various part of the world and around the USA with our RV.

School Story:

Somehow I managed to letter all 4 (57,58,59 & 60) years in both track and football while at CHS under John Adcock. We had many great moments. I remember on one occasion when coach Adcock ran sprints with us halfbacks. He was really fast but no match for Bill Simms and myself. Bill and I were probably the fastest backs at that time. I had the pleasure to play with Ronnie Carter. What a great athlete he was maybe the best CHS has ever had. I remember when Ronnie Mercer broke my left angle in football practice. I was in a cast for about one month. I loved my four years at CHS playing sports and having the opportunity to know and date some of most beautiful girls in our school.
