Nick Tedesco, was a good friend of mine growing up. We played on several baseball teams together. I remember Nick as a quiet but confident leader that was hard working and always seemed to excel when challenged. Nick passed away Oct 21, 2006 along with his 17 year old son Taylor in an ultra-light aircraft crash near Zephyrhills.
Nick was a 25 year veteran with the Hillsborough County Fire Rescue, he was hired in 1981. Nick was promoted to Captain in 1987. He is survived by his wife, Maureen and their younger son.
