Grandstanding on the roof leading from 100 hall to the gym. Mostly showing off for a certain girl. Fell off the roof on my head. Anthony Cabrera was standing there and being the close friend he was (and has remained through the years) proclaimed (I was told later) "he's definitely dead" as he walked away. Coach Gonzales gave me CPR and saved my life. The girl then visited me in the hospital two days later with the gentleman she was to be attending an upcoming event in which we were scheduled to attend before the accident. Many other life lessons piled up in High School, but this one remains lasting. I also have many, many fond memories of the times with everyone on the yearbook staff for '78 and '79. Great folks. Smart folks. Much smarter than me. I hope to see as many of them as possible at the reunion. Steve

Met Susan in college in 1983. We were married in 1984 and have two boys, Ty and Zac, ages 15 and 10 respectively. Graduated USF in 1984. Worked at an advertising agency for two years, then entered Stetson University. Been practicing law in Tampa since 1989. Been lucky enough to have stayed in touch with many of my friends from school who are now closer than family to me, and with whom I've been lucky to share many, many more memories throughout the last three decades. I look forward to seeing everyone this summer at the upcoming celebration of "The Chamberlain High Reunion, Class of 1979"
