Robinson High School 2020 Vision Project Results

Led by RHS parent volunteers, the Robinson High School Foundation conducted a 2020 Vision project during the 2015-2016 school year to better understand the wishes, needs and goals of our school community.

The 2020 Vision results are published here so the RHS community has a chance to view a summary of the input given on areas of concern and requests for support from the School District, Robinson High School, the RHS Foundation, and the greater community.

Please keep in mind that the 2020 Vision results serve as a guideline only for Robinson High School, the School District, and the Foundation to address recommendations for improvements.

THE PROCESS

• Focus groups were held in January and February 2016 independently with students, parents, teachers and staff to identify and prioritize school needs in three areas: extracurricular, educational and facilities.
• Using the focus group results, an RHS community survey was developed in March and distributed in April/May via SurveyMonkey.
• There were 718 total responses, comprised of 58% students, 27% parents, 13% teachers and staff, 1% administrators, and 1% alumni/supporters.

THE RESULTS

Survey Rankings
Those completing the survey ranked Educational, Extracurricular and Facility needs identified in the focus groups from highest to lowest priority. Here are the results of those rankings:
