Comments:

From Portola to Taft I lost the ability to just go to class, do minimal homework and get good grades.I suppose paying attention and studying may have been helpful. Did they teach study habits back then? I was somewhat shocked when I didn't get in to UCSB as planned. So I went to SDSU for a semester and came back to CSUN. My parents were getting a divorce so I worked almost full time and went to school on the six year plan.I learned how to study and proudly graduated with a degree in Business Administration-Marketing. I got married the next year to an ex-South African that I met at a fraternity party. Ironically, he was a ZBT at UCLA with a bunch of the Birminghan guys. I went on to work in pharmaceutical sales and then medical publishing sales. I worked hard and traveled a bunch and had my first daughter in 1994.Went back to pharmaceutical sales part time and happily retired when my daughter started kindergarten. I love being a mom and volunteering at school. My eldest just started high school my youngest started middle school and that was on our 20 year anniversary.

School Story:

Well, I'm a little late on the band wagon so my story would just be a repeat of what has already been said. All I can say is that I can't believe the independence we had, the lack of fear, and the things we were willing to try and do.
