Richard David "Rick" Etienne, age 29, of Tavares passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010. He was born in Orlando and was a lifetime resident of Tavares. He graduated from Tavares High School in 1999 and was an automotive mechanic. Rick loved spending time with his daughters, mudding, fishing, and being outside in nature. He is survived by his parents, George and Lora Etienne of Tavares; fiancée, April DiBattista of Tavares; daughters, Kasyde and Aryiana of Tavares; brother, Jimmy (Mandy) Etienne of Tavares; and many cousins, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service for Rick will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Tavares on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, www.jdrf.org or Habitat for Humanity, www.habitat.org.
