Eddie, you being a "Grand" father! Actually, I am sure you are going to be a really good Grandaddy and a fun one too.

Sandy, congrats to you also. Again, I will have to say, my Nate is the best gift I have ever been given. I love being a grandmother and I know you will to.

This little girl is especially lucky, they not only have Eddie and Sandy, they have Kathy and Denny. Wishing all of you lots of fun with Riley. I have seen the pictures and she is a cutie. Looks like she has a lot of hair and really dark.

Jane, I have also had Sharon on my mind this week. Thank you for the update. I would really like to have her address so I can send her a card. She really did have a great attitude Saturday night and hopefully she will keep it. I will keep you, your family and Sharon in my thoughts and prayers.

Congratulations, new Grand parents, I'm sure Josh is thrilled. Little girls are so special, I don't mean boys arn't, because God has blessed me with 2 special sons, but that granddaughter of mine is a ham. And boy does she ever have her daddy and Uncle Jay Jay wrapped around her finger. And Granny too.

Jane we will keep your sister in our prayers, I didn't know she wasn't well. I don't remember ever meeting her, but when I seen her, I knew she was your sister, you look just alike. I am glad you brought her with you last Saturday, I hope she had a good time. Keep us informed on how she is doing.

Take care all, Hope to see you again soon.

Hey Eddie

I'll let you know how Megan does, Hope she is a finalist.

But it's gonna be a tough one. 10 finalist from all ages, wish some of you guys were there.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I have a litter of Basset Hound Puppies. They are 3 weeks old and will be AKC registered. They are tri-color and absolutely adorable. I will be selling them for $250.00 each when they are 7 - 8 weeks old. I would love for them to stay close so if you know someone that is looking for a Basset Puppy, give them my #. I will post a picture later when they are tripping over their ears.

Also, I want to wish everyone a Blessed Easter.

It's been a while since I caught up. I've been busy. Have one contract to close in a couple of weeks and working on another one. I just got back from the ER with Sharon. Her arm that they removed the lymph nodes from just keeps getting bigger and red and hot to the touch. They did an ultra-sound and said the blood clots are actually gone and there is no infection. They said it is just fluid. She has another chemo treatment on Wednesday. They have really been making her sick. Today when she went to church was the first time out of pj's since Wednesday. Please everyone pray for her!!!

Okay, I don't want this website to become "Melva's" website. I worked really hard on this for our class. I know there has to be something exciting in your life that you can post. I put a picture of my puppies on the homepage because we needed something new and they are so darn cute. Anyone can put things on the home page, all you have to do is click on "Post an Announcement" and let it rip! We have 1 more year before I we have to decide whether to keep it or not. If no one is going to utilize it, update their profile, add new pictures, etc. then there will be no need to keep it.

If you hava an event, festival, a child graduating, getting married, having a baby, illness, death, fund raiser, or any kind of an announcement, please post it. Just type a paragraph of what is going on in your life. I can see who gets on and looks at the site and many of you get on and look but never post anything.

Again, this website was alot of work, I did it for YOU and I really want everyone to use it.

Hope all is well.
Melva

Hi all,

I recently seen Bonnie Hays and Wanda Hardin, I hadn't seen Bonnie since school. She has a beautiful daughter. It was so good to see her, she hadn't changed hardly at all.

I also seen Wanda hadn't seen her in years, we only live a few miles apart. I told her about the web site and ask her to log on. As we were talking I found out that her grandson is one of my neighbors. (What a small world)

06/23/09 09:26 PM #163

Melva Hume (Hill)

Hey Gail, did you happen to get Wanda's phone #. When we were in the 5th grade, she and I would walk up the steps that took you up on the hill and then back down on the other side everyday after school. We both walked to school every morning and then back home in the afternoon. Not sure why we did it (going up all those steps when we didn't have to) but it is something that I remember. I would love to see her.

Hey Melva,
Yes I did, it's in the car I'll send it to you later. Also, keep her in your prayers, she told me she had stomach cancer. She is traveling out of state right now for treatment,

Melva: maybe send out an email off this site to everyone with a link to post a note on the Message Forum.....how's your summer going, what's new with you? Include the Message Forum actual link in the email so all they have to do is click it and post from email.

To be honest.....I read ALL the emails generated off the site that drop directly into my email box... but I do not come to this page without some an email reminder. I think that could beef up some posts from our gang.

I can see I've been missing a LOT of chit-chat between you and you..ha.. and Eddie, and Jane, Sharon, Gail, and Anne....So sorry to hear that Wanda is fighting stomach cancer, she was a sweet friend to me as well. (I'd love her email or phone too Gail) Congrats Melva on your newest grandbabby!!! Know you'll spoil her to death. And PLEZ stop by again, you're only 15 min across the field from me ya know!! All doggies gone?

I connected with Gwen McCall recently online due to this site...she's doing great, getting married soon (I guess I can announce that..sure hope so.)

I emailed Jeanne Amis off the site, didn't hear back from her...guess it takes a really long time for email to reach the Ukraine!

Have a great summer everyone...it's in full swing. Busy busy. Just got back from Kansas City MO (nice city!), Indianapolis Children's Museum etc last weekend, saw the new King Tut exhibit...very nice indeed, although Claire loved the rest of the kids stuff. Melva your grandson would love if you've not been already. Going to Crescent Hill day tomorrow for fireworks/art show etc.

HAPPY 4th ALL...GOD BLESS AMERICA and our TROOPS
