Thanks Mike for starting this thread sharing memories about Ron. I sent the following to Mike and a few others and decided to post for all:

Thanks Mike. I connected with Ron through Facebook several years ago before he lost his faculties through Alzheimer's. All seemed good with him at the time. A couple of years ago a guy was trimming my trees and I was impressed with his ability to scramble up and down a tree. I was reminded that Gags had become a tree surgeon and told my guy that Ron was one of the best natural athletes I had ever known. And along with the physical part came a mental quickness for making the right decision.

I'm not remembering the mound discussion about a girl's female part (what's so hard about pronouncing "belly button"?), but I will never forget that Ron informed me that girls shit ice cream, and to this day I pass this on to those who I think should know.
