Teaneck High School
Class Of 1969
Welcome to the official Teaneck High School Class Of 1969 web site.
To All Teaneck Class of '69Highwaymen!
A Note to the Teaneck High School Class of 1969 (April 2025)
Dear Friends,
As spring slowly makes its way back to the Northeast, I find myself thinking of all of you and the many years we’ve shared since our time at Teaneck High. It’s hard to believe how quickly the decades have passed. Now here we are, in a season of life many of us never imagined reaching so fast—retired or close to it, with time to reflect, enjoy, and hopefully live a little more freely.
The trees are starting to bud, the days are growing longer, and baseball is back—those familiar signals that life is renewing itself again. There’s something comforting about this time of year. It invites us to pause, take a breath, and appreciate the moment. We’ve come a long way since those high school days. We’ve built careers, raised families, experienced joys and heartbreaks, and navigated the many twists and turns life threw our way.
Now, as we look around and see our lives filled with children, grandchildren, dear friends, and memories, I hope we all take the time to savor what we’ve created. Yes, the world is still noisy. The markets bounce around daily. Retirement accounts go up, down, and sideways. But if there’s anything we’ve learned by now, it’s that things usually even out. Stay calm. Don’t let temporary worries steal from the present.
Let this season be a reminder to enjoy the people around you. Get outside when the weather allows. Take long walks. Laugh with your family. Pick up the phone and call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while. Say yes to the lunch, the drive, the afternoon on the porch. These small moments have become the real gifts of this stage in life.
As we head into the middle of April, I want to wish each of you a warm and joyful holiday season—whether you’re celebrating Easter, Passover, or simply enjoying the renewal that spring brings. These holidays, grounded in tradition, family, and hope, remind us of what really matters.
So take time to celebrate, reflect, and most of all—enjoy. Enjoy your family. Enjoy your friends. Enjoy your memories, and the new ones you’re still making. And if you’re lucky enough to be healthy and surrounded by love, take a moment to feel just how special that is.
Stay active. Stay curious. Stay connected.
We may be older, but we’ve still got a lot of life to live. Let’s make it count.
Wishing you good health, peace of mind, and many bright days ahead.
Warmest regards
Mike Gothelf
