I was a policeman in Teaneck and then moved to Sparta Police Department and retired in 1992. I move to Florida the day after I retired.
School Story

I don't know many of my classmates because when we were juniors and seniors I only attended school in the morning. My mother needed someone at home and my father left for work at 1:00pm so the school administration arranged my schedule so I had all my classes early and left at lunch time.

I'm sorry to hear about Fred. He grew up in Glenwood Park, on Washington Street, and we went through Grammar School together at Hawthorne School. He was always a good guy.

Jimmy and I were classmates starting in Grammar School.  For years after High School I would occasionally stop at the Route 4 Dairy Queen.  As busy as he was, he always took the time to sit and talk a while.  He was a first class guy......always.

Richie and I enjoyed a few classes together.  I used to tease him that I was going to steal the moon disc hubcaps off his mother's '57 Plymouth Fury.  His response was "then you'll have to deal with me." He was a great guy.
