Mitchel Paul Kelland passed away suddenly in Scottsdale, Ariz. on Feb. 17, 2008.

He was born April 2, 1951 in Los Angeles, and spent his childhood in Saugus, Calif. Mitch moved with his family to Cameron Canyon during his early high school years and graduated from Tehachapi High School, with the class of 1969.

He had been residing and working in Cottonwood, Ariz. for the past several years.

He is survived by his daughter, Stacey Kauffman; son, Christopher Kelland; sister, Leesa Sanchez; brother, Aaron Sublet; granddaughter, Cameryn Kauffman; nieces, nephews, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Mitch was preceded in death by his mother Marilyn (Marnie) Kent, in May 2007.

A memorial service was held Saturday, March 1, at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, Ariz.
