Too many to tell and some would still get me into trouble. For all you guys that did all that stuff with me .. you remember it .. and nobody else would care about it.

Football and my team are still fresh in my mind. Lots of good times

What have you been doing since Since you Retired?

The last 10 years have been sort of crazy. In Dallas I met a wonderful lady Joan, fell in love - again- and then relocated to SW Washington State. We built a Tuscany style Bed and Breakfast Villa. We were going to be innkeepers for 5-10 years. After we opened the Villa I then took the job as the County Economic Development Director for 3 1/2 years until we developed the B&B Business. Then I retired from that and became the Chamber of Commerce President. Now we are building our retirement home down on the River. We hope to sell the Villa in the next few years, move into the smaller home and travel.

Well that had happened, we sold our Villa, I have retired and we are making plans to travel.

I wanted to be a charter Boat Captain on a Sail boat in the Tropics

What are you most nostalgic about from your Tempe High School years?

I know just a dumb jock! Football, Track & Hunting. I really do miss my team mates. As a kid from across the tracks all of my friends meant a lot to me. Having a group of friends that not only supported me in sports, but they were always ready to go camping, water skiing on the canals, getting somebody to buy a six pack for us, and driving our "fast" cars that we had to repair every weekend.

What would you like to share about what you've learned from life the past years since Tempe High School?

Hard work and long hours, keeping the mind sharp is what it takes to have success in this world. Being very competitive in sports made me a better businessman.

Are there any embarrassing moments that you are interested in sharing? Strictly optional.

too many times on our camping trips or in the gym, best just leave it there!

Who is that "one person" you would like to see and talk with from your days at Tempe High? Why?

As the years pass by it really hurts my heart to see so many of our classmates pass away. It's especially hard when one of you best friends leave us. So many memories explode in my brain, John was a true friend and buddy. We explored growing up camping, sports, being involved with school. He was willing to help, support, and encourage us all to be better. He led by example. Every class reunion I always tried to spend time with John. Catching up with John was very interesting had a very full life, loving family, he was extremely successful but never forgot his friends. RIP good buddy your smile will be missed.

Hey old timer … look we are vertical for another year. Wishing you a great birthday.. we finally finished building our retirement home on the beach. You can see the old Villa in the background. We had snow for 3 days..

Hi pal, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Good news we both are still vertical ??. Stay healthy, come up to the PNW next year.. we are building our retirement home down on the river. We have a cottage over our garage for guests!

Bing was a good guy, always friendly. I have many fond memories of Bing he was a good buddy. It's sad as we lose those friends from our High School days. I feel for his family, it's so tough to lose a loved one.

My memory of Joan was his leadership. I voted for him as class President. He always had a smile and always asked "How Are You" . Truly a gentleman and an example of how to be respectful of others. It was super seeing him again at our last reunion. He was in his wheelchair and still checking on people. I'm sad to see him leave us, I know his condition was hard on him. May he Rest In Peace.

We love our Military Weddings at the Villa, this is right after one of our weddings. We have a lot of GI's get married at the Villa. We have a special Elope package just for the Military.
