I have funny memories of Jim in elementary school. He had a very "mature" sense of humor and was a big fan of the Jackie Gleason variety show. He would get in trouble for drawing his own "American Scene Magazine" (a feature of the Gleason show) in class. Poor Jim just couldn't stay out of trouble. Jim and a couple of other boys were really good at double Dutch jump rope. I am sorry to hear of his passing as he was always nice to me.
