Class of 1972
What's New
Diane Lindsey got cut off at the right hand corner.
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Randy. I am glad I was able to see him again at the reunion. I have fond memories of classes with Randy, especially math!!! Randy was such a nice person- I would call him a friend.
I would like to send my condolences to Randy's wife and family. Praying for you during this time.
Nancy (Mellon) Scott
I for one am having difficulty wrapping my head around that reality. I don’t feel like I am almost 70.
Now I am quite a bit younger than most of you since my birthday is in November!!! I know Toni Perfecto and Jane Kane are younger than me.
I know reunions are hard to organize, but my husbands class had casual get together at the boat(like we did Friday night). Perhaps we could consider trying that!
I also want to say a big “THANK YOU “ to all of the work and heart that went into making our reunion possible! A special thank you to Mike Ferraro for taking the leadership role-fantastic job! Robbie Jones, the TCHS site is awesome! I heard at the reunion that Janet and Andy donated the hors d’oeuvres? If I got that right I’d like to say a special thank you- they were delicious! Randy Hoffman deserves a special thank you for the school tour-
The racetrack made a special venue- the flowers, memory table, name tags, etc. made it super special. Also the music, thank you Kevin, and the videos!
However, what made it the most special was the people! I know I didn’t get to talk to everyone or even hear all I would have liked to about each of you, but that is life. I will cherish this time together. Many were unable to come- we missed you!
For me, personally, this event was a catalyst to rekindle old friendships with very special friends(Jan Kane, Sharon Vonderohe, Toni Perfetto, Linda Dickason) This is priceless to me.
I have a special place in my heart for the La Rosa/Cloverly students- great memories.
I also was able to talk to some of you that I may not have really known you and I wish I had cause you are amazing- love to you all.
That was the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for all who were involved. A++
Ok! So I can’t wait to see all of you that are coming to the reunion! I will miss the many who are not able to attend! I also want to thank all of you who have worked to organize our reunion!
I feel blessed to have attended Temple City schools from kindergarten (La Rosa) through high school. This reunion has provided an opportunity to connect with many of you, which is priceless!!!
I wanted to remember Bill Evans. I know I knew him for many years-another Cloverly student. I don't have any vivid memories- but a lot of us would go out in the field and play kickball, work up baseball, and I recall a lot of dodge ball. I am sorry to hear that he passed away.
Rodney lived a block away from me. He was another Cloverly student. We used to play 4 square, etc during recess. I lost contact with him in junior high. He was very ill and passed away, I believe, during junior high- so sad!
Steve was one of the Cloverly students. I don't remember much about him, but he was always nice. I am sorry to hear that he has passed away!
Ray was a great guy. A group of us used to hang out at his house in the summer. He and I both had Volkswagens, so we were always comparing notes and fixing them up. He was a loyal young man.
Tom was one of my best friends early in high school. We dated a pair of twins for a while! We went on different paths, but I always treasured our friendship.
