Joint Class Gathering Oct 2024
It’s that time again
Make an effort to see some old friends and help a great cause. Crossland classes of ‘78, 79, 80, 81 and 82 will be holding a joint event on the 19th October 2024 at the American Legion Post 166 in Ocean City MD. Our fundraising will contribute to Cystic Fibrosis Charities. Ticket sales are in advance, and only $25 per person ($50 for a couple). This is a cash bar event but Legion prices are very reasonable. Pizza, wings and salad are included. There will be music and an auction throughout the evening. Below are points of contact. All are on Facebook. Tickets and Impromptu Gathering: Also, there will be impromptu gathering Friday evening at Fager’s Island, those details are still being worked. If there is interest, golf outing is possible Saturday too. Hotel: Room blocks are being held at both the Grand Hotel (410-289-6191) and the Holiday Inn (410-289-7263). Please reserve in advance, our blocks are under “Crossland”. Choose your room preference; Ocean front, partial view, coastal highway view. Prices range from 147 - 207 (plus tax) a night. Hotels have free parking and no resort fee. Both hotels are walking distance to/from the Legion. Both hotels have a restaurant and bar. Grand Hotel 2100 Baltimore Ave; Holiday Inn 1701 Baltimore Ave.
The details: Location: American Legion Post 166 Address: 2308 Philadelphia Avenue, Ocean City MD 21842 Date: Saturday, October 19th 2024 Time: 7:00 pm until 11:00, we have to be out by midnight. Parking is available on the street or in the hotel lot next door. Our private entrance is on the left-hand side of the building (when facing the building from Coastal Highway.) Ticket sales are non-refundable.
Please share this information with others, especially those not on social media. This is an unorganized organized event, so please buy your ticket and make your hotel reservation in advance. Please let someone know your intentions as advance head count is important for planning. Hope to see you there!
