I left The Woodlands and Texas just a few days after graduation and moved back to my parents home town of Memphis, TN where I began my career in the airline industry working for Royale Airlines (Delta Connection) as a Passenger Service Agent / Flight Attendant. We closed the base down in 1984 so I was transfered to Shreveport, LA and continued flying until I was hurt during severe turbulence. In 1985 I decided to go back to work on the ground which brought me back to Houston and I remained with Royale until June of 1986 when I was offered a job with Continental Airlines.
I worked as an Airport Services Agent until 1994 and now I am a Training Manager for Airport Services Training. I am responsible for training the front line agents in Gate Management, Ticketing, New Hire, Station Controls, Airport Accounting and CRO DOT Part 382 Serving Customer w/Disabilities. My job has taken me all around the world and I have had the pleasure of meeting some very wonderful and special people.
I only have a few memories of McCullough and the wonderful friends I had because I suffered a head injury in a car accident in 1989 and lost most of my memory. I think about what I can remember just about every day as I pass McCullough driving to and from work. My life is full now with work and family and trying to regain what I have lost as far as my memory and it is good to be able to once again call The Woodlands home.
