School Story:

I started my higher education at Selma University in 1977. I completed two years there, where I pledged Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. I transfered to Livingston which is now the University of West Alabama in 1979, where I chartered the first line for Phi Beta Sigma. The frat is still going strong today.
I joined the Army Reserve while attending Livingston University in Dec 1979. I reenlisted active duty in Oct 1980 and stayed in the army until Jan. 2001. Retiring from the army with disibilities for inservice injuries which gave me the opportunity to go back to school. I choose DePaul University here in Chicago and completed my Bachelors Degree in Business Management on March 20, 2009. I maintained a 3.72 GPA joined Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society. Commencement was held June 13 2009. I finally made good on my promise to Mom.
