Katharine Langland Bailey

I graduated from Georgia Tech in December 2003 and moved to Houston, TX where I worked for the Boeing Company on the International Space Station (ISS) contract. I primarily worked on sparing analysis and supportability engineering. I also worked console in the Mission Evaluation Room (MER) of the Mission Control Center (MCC) at Johnson Space Center.

In January 2009, I transferred to Boeing in Huntsville, AL at Marshall Space Flight Center, working the Ares I Upper Stage as one of the first loggies on the program.

In October 2005, I married a fellow GT grad, Pete, who works for Teledyne Brown Engineering as an Operations Controller (MCC console) for the ISS Payloads contract.

We have two blue-tick coonhound mutt pups, Jake and Luke, who rule the house!
