Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Jean, Virginia, Jeanette, and Kathryn; brothers, Richard and Vernon; and infant grandson, Luke. Clinton served 21 faithful years in the U.S. Navy where he was a Vietnam War Veteran. Clinton was also employed by Sani-Dairy for 18 years. Clinton was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and then Third Brethren Church, both in Johnstown, where he shared his faith and fellowship with all as a Sunday school teacher, camp counselor at Camp Peniel in Meyersdale, PA, and as a youth director. Clinton was also a gifted baseball coach at St. Thereses Youth League in Johnstown, as well as the Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek Little League in Virginia Beach, VA. He enjoyed working with wood crafts and was known to produce some fine results. Clinton deeply loved his family, especially his grandchildren who made him very proud. The inspiration of his military service carried on to all four sons, who have served, as well as four grandsons who currently serve. When you think of Veterans Day, if you knew him, you think of Clinton. All who knew him saw him as an honorable and honest man who loved his God, his country, and his fellow man.
