Maria Susan Duran was born 6-23-1941 in Tiffin, OH. She attended Miami Street Elementary School, Junior high and graduated from Columbian High School.
The first reunion that she attended was our 45th because we could not find her up until then. She had a great time reuniting with old friends.
In 2005 we again lost contact with Sue. Through her brother, Victor, we found out that Susan had died June 28, 2005 and was buried in Tiffin Fairmont Cemetery, beside her grandparents and sister.

Maria Susan DuranSusan attended her first high school reunion - our 45th reunion - in 2004. She stayed with us during that weekend and attended all of the festivities with Suzie Cunningham (also our guest that weekend, John and I.
She remembered so many places in Tiffin, many of which we visited after the brunch Sunday morning. It was if she was on a mission to see everything. We found approximately where her grandparents and sister were buried at Fairmont Cemetery. (None had a head stone.) We went by her old home on Miami Street. We stopped to buy Ballreich Potato Chips for her to take home.
She had such a good time.
We heard from her that Christmas and then nothing more.
In 2005 Susan's Alumni newsletter was returned with an address correction of Charlotte, NC. John found that Susan's brother, Victor, lived there. We sent an email to him asking about Susan.
Several months later, Victor sent word that Susan had died June 28, 2005 and was buried in Tiffin beside her sister and grandparents.
She had been living in the Hampton, VA area for four years at the time of her death. She had been a real estate agent for Caldwell Banker Professional Reality.
She was survived by her mother, Kathryn M. Duran of Arlington, VA and two brothers, Dennis Duran of Powell, WY and Victor Duran of Charlotte, NC.
