Robert W. Fowler        

Robert W. Fowler, 73, of Jackson Street, Tiffin, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at his residence.

Robert was born Aug. 11, 1939, in Tiffin, to Laurel and Della (Sours) Fowler.

Robert is survived by two sisters, Agnes Perry and Lema Jean Perry, both of Tiffin, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Fowler; and a sister, Catherine Welter.

Robert retired from Basic Refractories, attended Tiffin Columbian High School and enjoyed gardening, especially his tomatoes. Robert had recently earned his 25-year pin of sobriety which he was very proud of.

His funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, with the Rev. Jerry Boylan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Commission on Aging or to the charity of the donor's choice.
