Sharon Wenner obituary

 

Sharon Mae Wenner, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2024, at The Willows at Tiffin.

She was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Tiffin, the daughter of James and Sarah Kizer. Sharon graduated from Columbian High School in 1959. She married her first husband, Ralph Mogle in 1960, had two children, and then later divorced in 1979. Sharon married her second husband, Kenneth Wenner, in 1981, and he died in 2001.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Darrel) Boone and Tracy (Gregory) Semer of Tiffin; grandchildren, Austin (Nicole) Kingseed, Cody (Katrina) Semer, and Sarah Semer; and three great-grandchildren, Connor, Sophie, and Amelia Kingseed, with another on the way.

Sharon worked at Newberries and later at Tiffin Glass & Tiffin Metal. She loved to visit Marblehead lighthouse in her free time with her family. She also loved to fish and was an avid bowler. She was a loving mother who often visited the casino with her daughters and never missed bingo. Sharon was well loved by her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her sassy attitude and sense of humor. She is now reunited with her beloved dog, Skipper.

Sharon's graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Greenlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to charity of the donor's choice.
