Ralph R. Mogle

Ralph R. Mogle, 82, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1939, in Bettsville, to Virgil and Alice (Stover) Mogle. On Nov. 21, 1986, he married Sandra Biller.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Mogle of Tiffin; children, Brenda (Darrell) Boone of Old Fort, Tracy (Greg) Semer of Tiffin, and Michael (Christina) Mogle of Fostoria; eight grandchildren, Austin (Nikki), Cody (Katrina), Michael (Ashley), Sarah, Kaitlyn (Hayden), Zach, Aliesha and Joceylynn; eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Jackson, Conner, Sophia, Amelia, Dixie, Bailee and Mason; a brother, John (Leona) Mogle of Tiffin; and a sister, Jackie (Kenny) McKinney of Sycamore.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, George, Chuck and Rich.

Ralph graduated in 1959 from Columbian High School, Tiffin, and retired in 1998 from Flaherty Metal, Marion, after 40 years. He was a member of Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed golfing, fishing, rides by the lake, drives to Mohican with his grandchildren, military history, war movies, especially with John Wayne, model airplanes, collecting golf balls, playing softball and coaching women's softball.

His funeral will be noon Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, with the Rev. Lois Miller officiating.

Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral Saturday at the funeral home.
