
Jerry L. Lentz, 74, of Fostoria, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
He was born on October 22, 1945, in Fostoria, Ohio to Avon and Mary (Heyman) Lentz. On November 11, 1966, he married Bonnie Suhrbier.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Lentz of Fostoria; daughter, Anne D. Kelly of Tiffin; sister, Denise Ziegler of Tiffin; and grandson, Andrew Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Gregory S. Lentz.
Jerry graduated in 1963 from Tiffin Columbian High School, served in the United States Army Reserves and retired from Allied Signal. After retirement, Jerry was a part-time rural carrier for nine years with the Tiffin Post Office. Since 1996, he jammed with friends in a band called the “Cellar Dwellers” and enjoyed riding his unicycle with his family and the Smiling Faces Unicycle Club in Findlay. Jerry loved his 1963 and 1966 Plymouth Valiant convertibles and recently started drag racing his 1966.
There will be no services at this time and burial will be at a later date in Fairmont Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

I'm sadened to see yet aother classmate pass away. May he be now in the hands of our Lord. It is hared being away from so many of the guys and gals that I grew up with. Our ranks are dwindling.
