Here are some of the better pictures my husband took at our reunion.  Many thanks to all who helped organize the reunion, especially Carole Thornton Young.  We had a great time reliving high school.  I think we are all very lucky to have been raised in a small town.  Many of us knew each other for our entire schooling in Tiffin.  Thanks again to all who put the reunion together.   Look under my profile for the pics.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Dean Bauer.  We both lived in the same neighborhood and were friends both in and out of school.  My most vivid memory of Dean is after he had "souped up" his black Cushman scooter and offered to take me for a test ride.  Somewhat reluctanly I got on the seat behind him and we took off and ended up going down Clinton Avenue past my parents house at about 50 mph!  Luckily they did not see us go by and they never said anything to me later.  However, when we finally came to a stop at Dean's home on Ohio Avenue, I was very glad to get off the scooter in one piece.  Living on the edge seemed a little too risky for me.  It never seemed to be for Dean.  Thanks for ALL the former memories, Dean.

Way too far between my messages, but as in recent past lost friends Alvin and Dean and others, just gotta say aloha to all.Every once in a while I remember to look at this site. Thanks for the efforts it takes to do it!

Don't know if you knew I lived next door to Turner Funeral Home- 147 N Washington (and worked there ---oh yeh) for 2 years, but my "little" brother Bill was passing through recently and went to look (he actually lived there a lot longer than me)at "our" house and saw the pile of bricks and dust where that really old New England style house had stood. Apparently he got there like 2 days too late.No kidding, he was traumatized!

It's fun prowling Tiffin on Google Earth and seeing where I used to walk home from Miami St School to West Perry St. home. It took me an average of an hour and a half to make the trip (studying spiders and ants on the way).

Happy 70 to all . I was the class baby as far as I know...Oct 6.'45...... also 49th anniversary this year. # kids, all wonderful, !! grand  1 great and another in the oven.

Wish you all a nice summer! Happy some are able to see each other occasionally.  Mike Kuenzli

Google: youtube naki'i music, then select "videos". Choir was the start of it all!

Thank, Lily.  All is fine with Susan and me; but as you know, I am concerned about leadership in our country.  Watched the debate last night.  It was not much of a debate nor very presidential.  It made me appreciate all the good people that are on the job each day to make our country really work!  Fall weather has been great here so far and we are still square dancing.  Next weekend we will be in Woodruff, WI at a square dance.  You can only have so much fun!

UPDATE ON JUDY SHERER 10/10/2016

Last Tuesday, Judy made her appointed trip to the St. Vincent Burn Clinic for her check-up to see if she needed skin graphs.  She was told that she is progressing slowly, but progressing. The Burn doctor scheduled her back in 3 weeks. So we know for sure she will be in the nursing home for at least 3 more weeks. She had therapy today and for the first time she was able to stand next to the bed and tomorrow she will try to set in her power wheelchair and use it for the first time since she went into the hospital.  She is in room 607 Rehab wing at Autumn-Wood in Tiffin.

She asks me to please thank everyone for the cards and prayers and visiting her.  She still has a ways to go but because of her wonderful friends and family, she is showing improvement each day. Thanks Lanny

I have not been near this site and not much of anything elso for a long time. I thought I would catch a few of you up on my life.  This past year has been challenging for sure.  In April, I lost Jack, in September I lost my closest sister and in November I lost a nephew.  Right after Jack a cousin and neigh.bor also passed.  It has been pretty daunting. Jack and I were 2 months from our 57th anniversary. His last year was very difficullt.  He had been in the nursing home his last month not allowed visitors.  I saw him his last day.  He was alert and talking till the end however.  Those that spoke with him knows how outgoing and fun he was and he was that way right till the end. My doctor told me he couldn't believe when he saw Jack the next morni.ng after brain surgery and when he walked in the room he was sitting up and talking like he never had anything done.  I told doc I kept praying if the Lord knew it was time for him please keep him from pain.  People would come to his room and at the nursing home and ask him how is his pain and his reply was he had none.  That has helped me a lot.He had that big personality and strokes, heart attack and cancer of the lung and brain and 4th stage renal failure did not change him at all.  The doc sent me condolences and mentioned he was quite a unique character but sure made their day at his appts.  It does not escape me that at this age we are, I know others have had some terrible things to get through also. Oddly none of my issues has had to do with the pandemic.  Please stay safe and try not to put any enjoyment off.  I will feel strange alone but will try to get over to lunch sometime. This probably is tmi but I'm a talker.
