Your beauty was surpassed only by your kindness. Through the years we shared laughter and tears from Noble to Columbian. You are missed, dear friend. Rest In Peace.
On Saturday, November 5, 2005, Dorothy died at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was born June 4, 1944 in Tiffin, and married Michael Murphy on May 6, 1967 at St. Mary's Church.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Pam (Bob) Florence of Powell, Ohio; a sister, Ruth Bissell of New Castle, CA; and two grandsons, Jalen and Bishop Florence.
During high school, Dorothy played the coronet in the Columbian High School Marching Band, participated in the Drama Club, enjoyed just about every dance in the surrounding area, and made our teen lives a lot more fun with her humor, beautiful smile, and infectious laugh.
