Taught at the University of MEMPHIS for 47 years. Retired as Professor Emeritus in 2014.

Spent a number of summers in the 1980’s and 90’s being a National Law enforcement park ranger in Yellowstone National park.

Traveled a lot over the years.

Favorite job was being a park ranger!
