So, so sorry to hear about the passing of Rose! She was a very active, vibrant person who will be greatly missed! Prayers to her husband and family!
On another note, hope John Syrowski is having a speedy recovery from his health issue. Wishing good health to all my classmates and their spouses.

I will miss Rose and I am very thankful to her for managing our class lunches. My prayers are with her family as they go through this difficult time. Rose, we all love you! May she rest in peace and may God hold her in the palm of His hands.

So sorry to hear about Rose. She was loved by many and fought the gallant fight. She is in God's hands...

While moving our home, I found a box of memorabilia of a New York trip,  This was taken at the Copacabana Club starring Frankie Avalon.  I remember the occasion but did not remember who I was with.  Eighteen Centralites and other CYO members attended this and the June 1965 World’s Fair.

At the most recent reunion I sat a little with Paul Link.  I told him I was the class clown and he said no, he was.  In any case, here we are together, however, we looked very studious.  Jerry Reichert

Jerry, thanks for posting that picture. I remember that trip well. It was a long bus ride from Toledo to Manhattan. I remember we stayed that The New Yorker Hotel. I roomed with Spud Jacob who was a year ahead of us at CCHS. What a great memory. Probably the only time in my high school career that I looked studious!

I received a call this morning from Tom Flynn's wife, Barb. Here is the message she gave me. Please keep Tom in your thoughts and prayers. "Tom had a brain aneurysm and had to have brain surgery on Monday.  Surgery went well but he had a small stroke during it.  He is in Toledo hospital and not sure how long he will be here.  He may have to go to a rehab because he suffered some loss to the left side of his body.  Everyday he is getting better and better.   Prayers would be appreciated for him to get back all his strength."

Hey Paul...get well your self.  I just got back from visiting Tom in the Hospital.  I sent a message to Mary Jo to update email classmates but here is my update on our CCHS site.

Tom is being moved to Flower hospital tomorrow as they have a rehab facility he will be using to work on his left side.  He does currently have feeling in his left side but is painful moving his arm and leg at the moment.. Not sure how long before he gets released from rehab at Flower, but with our prayers and his determination, hope for a complete recovery.  He has some headaches, and numbness in this face, but is speaking fluently and aware of his surroundings.  Just tired as he builds his strengrth up again.

Pie Man

I have been asked to post the names of the people who attend our monthly luncheons to give a better picture of who attends. I will try to do this each month. There are times when I can’t attend, so I’ll rely on an attendee to email those names to me. Here is the list from the January 2025 luncheon that was held at Smokehouse 419. Hopefully I haven’t missed anyone.
