Charlie and I attended Blessed Sacrament and then to Roy C. Start.  Charlie talked about the Army for as long as I can remember then spent 2 years in Viet Nam.  The guy was a lover of the Rightous Brothers and always sang along with Bill Meledy.

Charlie was a true Patriot  God Bless you Hank.

Charlie was in my History Class with our esteemed teacher, Mr. Lee Rynder. Remember his "Where's your hall pass." He was in other classes, but this one was the most fun. He had a great sense of humor and tried to hide his smarts, but we knew. I remember him coming down the main hallway one day with a leather motorcycle helmet and he had, I believe, an old Indian motorcycle (or another old one??)out in the parking lot?? Charlie was a good part of my time as a Spartan.

To Charlie,

Semper Fi from another Viet Nam Vet and I wish the best for you on your new journey.
