I had the HONOR of knowing Frank and growing up with him on Hoiles ave. He was an incredibly talented musician. Able to play the guitar, violin, organ and piano, and just about any other musical instrument that he touched. He was a background student at Start I guess you would say, but those of us who knew him well, realized the depth of his talent and thought. I was often in awe of the philosopical nature of his thought and discussion. As Dave Nagel once wrote in a poem dedicated to Frank after his death, " I wonder what you would be like at 70".

We'll never know, but I was happy to know him as my friend.

I heard he died in Vietnam. Don't know if that is true. He was a very sweet guy and he left a note in my yearbook that I've never forgotten. I guess he had a crush on me, but I never knew. I'll never forget him.
