Our classmate Louis Korb passed away on January 15th.  Below is his Obituary from the Blade.

Louis Earl Korb

Louis Earl Korb, 71, passed away on January 15, 2021.

He was born on March 16, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio. He lived in Toledo and Sylvania, Ohio for 50 years before moving to Avon Lake, Ohio.

Lou was a teacher and tennis coach at Sylvania Northview High School from 1972-1979. He then joined Medical Mutual of Ohio as an Actuary. From 2000 until 2013, he lived in Avon Lake, Ohio and then retired to Leland, NC.

Lou loved coaching his children when they were young, as well as playing golf, pickle ball, and bowling.

Lou was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Earl Korb. He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Todd (Mary) and Lacey (Matt); grandchildren, Spencer and Brooks; brothers, Dennis (Cindy) and Richard (Sandy); and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
