Roger Young

Grew up with Sam (Steve). Lived next door and he loved to play cards, he bowled on our team for a couple years while I was going to night school. He also loved to gamble. Last time we messaged back and forth he informed me that he didn't have long to live. RIP my friend. Barney (Roger Young)

Terry Harris

Terry Harris; Met Sam st SHS, hung out with him and all of the other Motor Heads, Larry Sexton, believe it or not Ed Connel, Larry Roselle, Ken Turk and many others. Sam, drove a 1958 ford 4 door sedan, which had to be the ugleliest car I've ever seen, it had a three speed manual trans, column shift. One winter day he called me up and said lets's skip school, ok, sounds good. It was a cold snowy day, so we just deove around just beating the living crap out the o'l 58, doing donuts in empty patking lots, even took a wild ride on the Ottawa River, which was frozen over, racing on the ice like idiots. Then after all of that fun we went back to SHS when school was letting out. All of the walkers heading down Westbrook, Sam thought it would cool to race down Westvbrook doing 40 MPH creating a tidal wave of water and ice lieterly every person getting an Ice shower. Finally the old 58, gave out with a blown radiator never to ride again. A one of a kind crazy day, but so memorable. My sides were ready to explode pure laughter. A great classmate, and friend.
