Wife, Sandy is an author with many articles and awards to her credit. She is a published novelist, her book "The Gold Machine". She formally created the "Commonwealths" section of Kentucky Living Magazine that went into 500,000 homes and business' and is read by over 1,200,000 each month.
I have been involved in volunteer community affairs and our Hidden Valley Maintenance Association. Retired from the IBM Corporation in 1991. Owned a consulting company from 1992 through 2007.
Over the years we have lived in eight different states. I also served on temporary assignments in Europe, Florida and NYC. Owen ten different homes and now live in a retirement cottage we built in 1995.
Our "lake home" is located on an 11-acre private lake. The extended property includes a 82-acre preserve that boasts two knobs (that's what they call a high hill in Kentucky).

TOPIC – Who squealed?
You may remember that my mother, Ruth, was an assistant to the THS Librarian for over 25 years. She was there when I was…all three years.
I was not the greatest of high school athletes and after being run over by Mike Shinn in football and jumped over by John Pat in basketball I gave up sports as a junior. I got a job and bought a car. In the summer before senior year I started smoking (cigarettes). Of course, my mom and dad did not know about this habit.
Not one week into the Fall term, I was tagged by a hall proctor for being outside the school, during class hours, late for a class and written up for smoking (not in the designated smoking room). In just 15 minutes my mother was told by some squealer. I had to answer to the charges that evening at home, agreeing to try to stop. I did 30 years later in 1991!
The question is “Who squealed?”
