Tanya K. McCoy Finn

Since high school I have been living the good life and having more fun than I should. Have been married for 43 years Richard Finn. Taught school in Desoto for 2 years then moved to K.C. and worked at St. Marys Hospital for 9 years. Had two great kids and was able to stay home and put thousands of miles on my two vans taking the kids to school, sports activities and soccer tournaments all over the country. Presently I am serving on my second term as alderman at Weatherby Lake . We lived in Paris and Italy loving every minute, but glad to get back to the U.S. Since the kids have left home I have been able to travel to Viet Nam, Laos, Turkey Italy, etc. and will arrive back from Portugal during the reunion. Hope to see you all if not then probably on our next reunion. Tanya McCoy Finn

Remember the trip to New York and Washington D.C. on the train...what a blast. Topeka High was a fantastic school and I remember many of my teachers Mr Walker my home room teacher, our homeroom was in the auto shop, how lucky. The boston creme pie and rolls in the cafeteria were to die for. Mrs Mccormick for world history, Mrs Simpson for spanish, and Ms. Riley for typing oh who couldn't forget Mrs Spencer in P.E. Topeka High had wonderful teachers and the school building was beautiful. Many wonderful memories. Thanks THS for the education.
