I went by Terry's this afternoon. Didn't go in. But, tipped my hat and said: "Goody-bye".  And, in this case Good-Bye" in it's true sense. As you bye (go on your adventure) God-speed!  I met Richard when I moved to Topeka in 1955. Even though we were not what you'd call close friends, I always considered him a friend. He was a one-of-a-kind...a true free-spirit. See ya sometime, Richard. Fill me in, then, on what you've been up to!!

"Rich" communicated with Sandy and me quite a bit before the 50th reunion. He wasn't on the internet but we taked a number of times as he wanted to stay in touch. He made it to several of the 50th events although he didn't have a "ride". He tried to walk from his appartment to the class gift dedication but had to turn back as he couldn't get his breath. We knew he was ill but he must have gone down hill this Fall. We will miss our chats.
