Melvin "Skip" Fritze

Moved to Tulsa,Okla beginning of Senior year. My mom said I should have been left in Topeka to grad. Spent time in US Navy. Used GI bill and graduated college. Worked for the FAA for 33 years. Lived 7 years in Japan during that time.
Retired and live in Norman,OK at present.
Topeka Hist: 1950-1961. My dad worked for VA. Resided on VA post, then High Street, then last residence West 10th across from Gage Park.
Went to public school thru 4th grade (Randolph) then to Topeka Luth Schl. then to 9th grade Capper and then THS.
My mom still living at 90. My Dad born Topeka 1917. END

Vivid memories of"War Ball" during gym.
A physics teacher who susposedly was "shell shocked during WW1. Can't remember name.
