My kids were amazed when they were young that they could cover the name of any person in my high school year book, and I could tell them the name of the person. Now, I don't seem to remember too many of the names, and that strikes me as a little sad. I'd sure enjoy reminiscing with some of my kid classmates more often than twice each quarter of a century...

My kids asked me which group I hung with when I was in school, and I didn't know how to answer. I took calculus, but don't think I was thought of as too much of an egghead. I ate lunch mostly with band kids, but I was never in band. I enjoyed talking to the potheads, but wasn't too much of a rabble rouser (at least in my opinion). I can beat any one in my class at racquetball, but don't think I was thought of as a jock, so I don't know what group would most identify me back in the day. I guess I was just waiting to have kids to find my real love or ideal role as a parent.???
