Career, Life Experiences:
I moved to Indiana shortly after completing a music education degree at Washburn University. I married William McCarty, and taught school for several years while I completed my Master of Music Degree at Butler University. Bill and I had one child, Kelly, then he passed away while I was still very young. I got very involved in music, theatre, and writing. I did a lot of performing, and owned a theatre in Indianapolis for seven years. My daughter attended Indianapolis schools, and when she graduated, she went to college at the University of Southern California. She and I both lived there for several years, then I met a wonderful man, a banker, John Clair, who also shares my love of theatre and writing. I returned to Indiana and we were married in 1995.
Kelly returned to Indiana, and got an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. After living in New York City for several years, Kelly returned to Indiana and worked for a new web analysis company called Exact Target, where she met her husband Angel Morales. They have now started their own web analytics business called Modallogix. They have two children, Hunter, 2 years and Hudson, 6 months.
My husband and I have written several original musicals that have been produced, but never published. We have just completed one about the life of the Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen which will premier in June of 2011 at the new Carmel Performing Arts Center that is opening this spring in Carmel, Indiana.
I returned to teaching several years ago, and by the time the reunion rolls around, I will be retired - again. I plan to write, direct shows, and play with my grandchildren.

Happy Birthday June! Missed you at the Reunion. It was great to see all the classmates that were able to attend. Tom Bayless brought some Wine and Linda and Gary had plenty of Beer on hand. Unfortunately, Richard Hays was sick in bed with COVID and not able to attend. We missed him too. I think we will be gearing up for the 65th Reunion pretty soon, as it takes older folks a little longer to get ready!! HaHa. Merry Christmas too! Loren

Happy birthday, Julie! Have a wonderful day! Every day is a gift!
I believe at our age, we should celebrate our birthdays for a month. In that case, this birthday greeting is right on time! Have a wonderful month, Faith, and hope to see you in October!
Hi, David - I just now saw your comment about the Palladium! A few years late! Of course, you know that everything closed down March of 202, but starting to open up again, bit by bit. Most of the theater ventures we are involved in are at the Cat - the small theater south of Main on 3rd. Ave. SW (Now called Veteran's Way.) Hope all is well with you!

Hi, Helen! Happy belated birthday! I hope it was a wonderful one in spite of the great pandemic of 2020. I still remember fondly our times singing together in our trio in high school. All is well with us. Hope to see you at the reunion next year if not before!
Hugs from June
