Keith Dwayne Henderson November 29, 1948-March 18, 2014 Keith passed away at his home in Ozawkie, KS, this past Tuesday morning. He was born in Topeka, KS and graduated high school from Highland Park in 1966. He is a US Army Veteran, serving in Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart. Keith married Linda Conyers, October 25, 1969, they had two children Haley and Harley. He retired from Goodyear in Topeka, in 2008. He was a lifetime member of both the VFW Post 10815 and the American Legion Post 225. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Hamilton, daughter Haley Henderson, son Harley Henderson, and granddaughter Joslyn Patton. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda.
Dan (Engle) and Dwayne (Kleck) were able to surprise Keith with a visit to Topeka and spend some time with him after he lost his wife, Linda. I'm glad the 3 buddies got that time together before Keith took sick and began to decline himself.
