After high school I joined Jostens, and I worked there for 25 years. Then I made a life changing decision and left the state after filing for a divorce. I lived in Tennessee and worked at a check cashing company for 2 years, until the business was sold. I then couldn't find work, so I made my own job, by becoming an independent truck driver. I loved truck driving, but it takes a toll on your body. While truck driving I was able to visit all 48 states and 5 Canadian Providences. I moved back to Kansas, after I quit driving. Tried unsuccessfully to open a restaurant. Had a couple of jobs, before I was injured. Now I can't find a job, with my limitations, so at 57 I decided to go back to school. I am now working on becoming a social worker. I will graduate when I am 61 years old, God willing.
