I wouldnt lift up anything especially funny, or special, except for how much i appreciate to this day the teachers and students at Topeka High Schoool, the rich diversity of the students, the integrity of the teachers, and the energy for the future that so many of the people displayed. Additionally, each time i read about another school district paring its commitments to the creative arts, i am reminded of the significant investments of people like Elbert Fly and Martha Herrick and so many, who understood what it would one day mean to each us, to have been introduced to the profound power of music and drama and literature.
